Salami Panel Reveals All Crimes Committed By Magu While He Was EFCC Chairman

The EFCC, under Magu's supervision, was accused of failing to remit another N48 billion loot recovered in foreign and local currencies.   A presidential panel set up to investigate Ibrahim Magu, former acting chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has alleged that he abandoned 14 fraud cases totaling N118 billion and $309 million, according to a report by The Cable.   Under Magu's supervision, the EFCC failed to remit another N48 billion loot recovered in foreign and local currencies, the final report submitted to President Muhammadu Buhari in November 2020 noted.   The panel, led by former Supreme Court President, Ayo Salami, was formed to investigate the EFCC from May 2015 to May 2020, when Magu was in charge.   The report has now been submitted to the office of the secretary to the federation's government.   According to presidential sources, a panel to create the white paper will be formed soon.   The former EFCC chief was accused of mishandling the re

  Ingredients: 4 big bell peppers 2 vine tomatoes 1 whole white onion Note: You can increase the amounts of the three ingredients above depending on how many mouths you have to feed. The only rule being that the number of peppers should be double the number of tomatoes used, and the number of onions used should be a quarter of the number of peppers used) 1 Scotch Bonnet pepper (optional) 1 whole red onion Half a cup of vegetable oil A tube of tomato puree (sachet or tin tomatoes) 3 Bay leaves 1 tablespoon of dried Thyme 3 Stock cubes 2 tablespoons of All purpose seasoning 2 teaspoons of curry powder (optional) Salt (to taste) Long grain rice (1 cup per person as a standard measurement) The number of peppers, tomatoes and onions above usually work for 6 cups of rice. Company receives N100m allocation for road constructed by RCCG

  The Federal Ministry of Works and Housing has set aside N100m in the 2021 budget for the rehabilitation of the Ife-Ifewara Road which had been fixed by the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God(RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye. The road was rehabilitated free by Adeboye as part of the church’s Social Corporate Responsibility at the cost of N188,440,342.00. As a result of this, the Senate is currently probing the Ministry of Works and Housing for paying N145m to a construction firm, Cartil Construction Nigeria Limited, as a reimbursement for the road. The matter is currently being handled by the Senate Committee on Ethics, Privileges and Public Petitions, following a petition written to the panel by the church. However, our correspondent, who obtained a copy of the Ministry of Works and Housing’s 2021 budget, observed that the ministry allocated yet another N100m as payment to the contractors for the rehabilitation of the Ife-Ifewara Road. Engineer tackles RCCG over property encroachment

  An automobile and industrial engineer, Omotilewa Adediwura, has accused the Redeemed Christian Church of God(RCCG), City of Kings parish, of encroaching on a property he reportedly acquired in the Ijegun area of Lagos 14 years ago. News was gathered that Adediwura allegedly bought two plots of land in 2004 and acquired its Certificate of Occupancy. He reportedly travelled to England afterward. It was learnt that the plots of land, when acquired by Adediwura, had a residential building on one part, while the RCCG parish made use of the unused part on which it erected a temporary structure. There was reportedly no agreement or contract on the use of the said portion of land between Adediwura and the RCCG. On returning from England in 2015, the 53-year old said the church had erected a permanent structure on the land, adding that all attempts to reclaim his property had proven abortive. Dunamis churches operating in Kaduna State are doing so illegally as their properties lack proper titles and violate various aspects of the state’s building codes, an agency of the state government has said. The Kaduna State Urban Planning and Development Agency (KASUPDA) recently wrote to individuals, businesses and religious organisations in the state, asking them to provide title documents of their properties. Among the religious organisations written to was Dunamis Acting General Manager of KASUPDA, Fatima Bambale, made the request in a letter with reference number PS/14/PP/ZIII/20,624/VOL I/0. The letter was titled ‘’Update of Religious Institutions within the state.” ‘’I am directed to request you to furnish the agency with details(of title documents and approvals) through the attached form,’’ Ms. Bambale wrote.
